Vitamin C Treatment

Want to revive your skin? Add a glow? This Vitamin C Antioxidant treatment helps firm and tone the skin, reduces redness, aids in healing and is known to help slow down the aging process. Antioxidants such as Vitamin C fight the free radical damage that causes the skin to age. Excellent treatment for all skin types especially great for rosacea clients or those who enjoy the sun. Glycolic Acid Treatment

Glycolic Acid, derived from sugar cane, loosens and dissolves glue-like substances that hold the outer layer of cells to each other and to the underlying epidermis. When the glue is loosened, the thick stratum corneum is sloughed away revealing a much smoother, vibrant skin texture, refined pores and the appearance of healthier, hydrated skin. Glycolic Acid, because of its small molecular structure, penetrates more easily and encourages the regeneration of collagen and elastin. Excellent for clients with dry, rough, scaly photo aged skin. May also be used to reduce the appearance of brown spots or sunspots. For best results recommended in a series of 6 every 10 days, followed by a monthly treatment for maintenance.

Salicylic Acid Treatment

This Beta Hydroxy Acid formula, derived from aspirin, is excellent for acne prone skins because of its ability to break down the bonds that glue worn out cells to the follicular lining and skin’s surface. This solution acts as an anti-bacterial to help destroy bacteria that encourage acne flare-ups. It is also found to enhance oxygenation and detoxify the skin tissue. Salicylic Acid is an excellent exfoliator, which aids in the penetration of topical agents. Fitzpatrick IV-VI (olive to ethnic skin types) may have temporary darkening of the skin, which could last for several weeks. Recommended as needed by one of our Medical Aestheticians.

Lactic Acid Treatment

Lactic Acid, derived from sour milk, is an excellent treatment for clients with all levels of dry, dehydrated, sun damaged skin. Lactic Acid occurs naturally in the skin and is a primary component of the skin’s natural moisturizing factor. It is ideal for sensitive skin or skin unable to tolerate glycolic acid. This acid will help smooth coarse, rough textures and is highly regarded for treating skin with hyper pigmentation challenges. Excellent for all skin types (excluding flared acne). For best results, recommended in a series of 6 every 10 days, followed by a monthly treatment for maintenance.

Microdermabrasion
