Sculptra® Aesthetic is indicated for the correction of shallow to deep nasolabial fold (smile lines), contour deficiencies and other facial wrinkles which are treated with appropriate injection technique in healthy people. This product is used to restore and/or correct the signs of facial fat loss. It is a synthetic and biocompatible material that is injected into the area of fat loss. It is a safe, gradual way to increase skin thickness in sunken areas of the face. Our doctor will determine if this treatment is right for you.

Treatments:
Results are gradual, not immediate, therefore it is necessary to schedule a follow up visit with the provider to asses whether additional treatments are required.

What is Sculptra?

Biocompatible means that Sculptra does not harm the body and biodegradable means that the body is able to break down the material.

How long are results?
Since sculptra is biodegradable, the results are not permanent. However, the results are enduring, lasting up to two years.

What are the side effects?
Tenderness, discomfort, redness, bleeding, bruising and/or swelling can occur at the injection site. Also, a delayed appearance of small bumps under the skin in the treated area can occur. However, these bumps are typically not visible.
